About the Role

Base Location: Reading

Salary: £36,260 – £44,257 and a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available

What is the Role?

As IT PMO Analyst, you will provide support and guidance to Energy Customer Solutions portfolio of projects and programmes, while helping to manage and improve the core Portfolio Management Office functions including planning, reporting, change control, quality assurance, document management & resource demand management.

Key responsibilities for the role will include:

– Working with the Governance Lead, you will provide the portfolio with direct project management interaction.

– Supporting Project Managers with various software and models, using a range of tools and techniques.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

– Experience of working with Agile methodologies or traditional approaches such as Six Sigma or Prince 2 (a qualification is desirable but not essential).

– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to allow you to provide accurate executive-ready reports and monitor project spend, risks, dependencies and milestones.

– Strong organisational, time management and communication skills with the ability to be flexible and self motivated.

– Ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision in a busy, pressured but also exciting environment.

– An understanding of the energy industry will be highly advantageous, however not essential.
