Base Location: Havant or Reading
Salary: £47,600 – £71,600 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

An exciting opportunity to join the Service Portfolio & Continual Service Improvement team, where you will play an essential role in transforming Group Technology Services into a streamlined and efficient service organisation. You will support IT teams in optimising processes, eliminating obstacles, identifying opportunities to enhance service performance, and critically service catalogue management. This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the future of IT service delivery and process improvement within SSE.
– Crucial in fine-tuning and evolving the service catalogue process and tooling to ensure it precisely reflects the services offered and aligns well with changing business needs.
– Working closely with IT teams and service owners to improve the service catalogue, making it an essential resource for service delivery and continual service improvement efforts.
– Leading continuous updates and accuracy of the service catalogue, ensuring it serves as a key tool for both service delivery and ongoing enhancement initiatives.
– Establishing and managing the service portfolio processes, along with a clear plan for service improvement.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
– Experience in service management, especially in service improvement with a solid understanding of IT frameworks like ITIL/COBIT and tools like ServiceNow.
– Extensive experience in Continuous Service Improvement, focusing on the Service Catalogue and Service Portfolio improvement initiatives.
– Capable of tracking progress against targets and managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
– Skilled at supporting and maintaining the service catalogue’s accuracy and improvement to meet the business and IT needs.
