The Football Association (The FA) is the governing body of football in England. The FA Coach Mentoring Programme supports Coaches in the National game whilst supporting the delivery of the FA Coach Development strategy, by improving standards in coaching and retaining coaches and players in the game.
Reporting to the Senior Regional Coach Mentor, you will be responsible for communicating with stakeholders to manage, develop and monitor mentoring programmes in relation to the National Coach Mentoring programme, as well as contributing to a coherent mentoring strategy within the Region aligning to the National Game Strategy.
You will be responsible for the recruitment, management, development and deployment of a team of FA Coach Mentors across the region supporting the development of coaches within the game.
Working as part of a team you will also contribute to the planning and design of programmes which support the philosophy around England DNA, promoting a culture of lifelong learning within coaching communities.
You will support, record and evaluate the effectiveness of professional learning provided to stakeholders linked to wider FA strategies.
You will be responsible for helping to improve match day behaviours, helping to up skill and support coaches to develop knowledge, confidence and skills, whilst developing individual learning and cascading models of mentoring to ensure legacy and sustainability.
