Base Location: Flexible UK
Salary: £45,200 – £67,800 depending on skills and experience + car/car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

What is the Role?
Working as part of an offshore wind farm project development team, you’ll be accountable for investigating options and managing the development of an integrated offshore grid project for a number of offshore wind farms scheduled to be delivered before 2030. You’ll manage the team accountable for taking the grid project from the early development stage through to the production of economically viable project options at Final Investment Decision. A large part of this role will involve ensuring that new projects are set up in a manner which enables them to be delivered safely and effectively.
Some of your other main accountabilities will include;
1. Working with the Engineering Team, design the project to be developed, built and operated safely
2. Working with the Consents Team, secure buildable project consents
3. Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, deliver the project to programme and on budget
4. Creating and developing working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including BEIS, Ofgem and National Grid ESO
5. Commercially assessing options for value and risk with an objective of improving competitiveness.
What do I need?
We are looking for someone with a project management background and an understanding of major project delivery, preferably in offshore renewables or electrical engineering. As a person, you’ll be highly motivated and always looking for innovative ways of delivering ambitious objectives to tight timescales.
You’ll enjoy working within a diverse project team and sharing in the team’s fortunes, but have the confidence and ability to take the initiative where necessary to ensure project success.
Due to the nature of this role, we are also looking for you to have the following;
– Awareness of offshore electricity transmission grid design and regulation
– Be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or possess extensive relevant experience.
– The ability to clearly deliver key messages across all levels.
– The ability to lead and motivate a team of multi-disciplined and diverse individuals.
