What is the Role?

Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Farms is a multi‐billion‐pound offshore wind development and construction project, and as a key member of the Governance Package team, you’ll work closely with the Project Quality Manager and associated Package Managers, including the wider SSE Capital Projects Team to ensure delivery of a successful project.

Some of your main accountabilities will include;

1. Assisting in the planning and execution of all Project QA audits (internal & external), compile audit and surveillance reports and actively monitor and expedite resulting actions.

2. Attending meetings as SSE Renewables company representative / observer at Contractors audits.

3. Assisting in the compilation of quality documentation and reviewing documentation submitted by Contractors.

4. Supporting the Project Quality Manager and the Package Managers in defining quality risks and mitigating actions.

5. Accompany Project staff when conducting visits to manufacturers and contractors, on and off site as required.

What do I need?

We are looking for someone with considerable QA Management experience as a quality professional in a similar organisation or market, accompanied with strong organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to meet challenging deadlines.

You’ll have previous experience of monitoring Contractor activities across all project phases, including engineering, manufacture, preservation, installation and commissioning through to completion / hand over, as well as managing non‐conformities.

You’ll be well versed in working collaboratively with contractors and clients and have a robust understanding of the quality function during the execution of EPC contracts.
