The FA’s vision is to win the World Cup in 2023 and grow a sustainable system that delivers success for future Lionesses. It is an exciting time to be involved in a critical period of Women’s football off the back of the recent World Cup and with the upcoming Olympics and home soil European campaigns.
The Game Plan for Growth sets out an ambitious agenda including the professionalisation of the Women’s League structure in England. Developing clubs with the professional infrastructure to identify, attract and importantly develop women’s footballers is a key component for the overall development of players within the system.
We are looking to recruit a World Class Physiotherapist who can work collaboratively with England Teams and Club Sports Science and Medical Department Staff to support the mitigation and rehabilitation of injury through screening, profiling and injury management for potential Lionesses from across the upper phase age grades who are supported through International Development Programmes. The successful post holder will also work with and through TASS to both develop a strategy to deliver physiotherapy services whilst also monitoring uptake and standards of clinical delivery through the TASS performance network.
