About the Role

Base Location: Reading and Havant

Salary: £63,000 – £94,400 + car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

You would be joining the End User Services team, responsible for the product vision, the roadmap, the development, and operation of the Digital Workplace services within the SSE Organisation.

Key Responsibilities for this role will include:

– Development and delivery of the Digital Workplace platform strategy and roadmap aligned to the GTS Strategy and SSE business feedback.

– Responsibility for the service delivery for Digital Workplace within the wider End User Services organisation; Productivity, Comms & Collaboration, Citizen Development and Content Management.

– Effectively communicate both technical and end user business change to senior stakeholders.

– Manage both SSE internal and external teams to transform service and deliver backlog.

– Own the budget and financial planning for the platform.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

– A Proven track record of managing a Digital Platform, Product Owner experience.

– Skilled in communicating product roadmaps, prioritising features based on business value and user impact.

– Ability to work with end users, architects and technical teams to evolve the Digital Platform to meet SSE’s requirements.

– Good understanding of Microsoft 365 platform and related products.

– Experience working in an “evergreen” environment and the associated challenges of adapting to constant change and the impact on the business.
