The role

Were on the lookout for a motivated and reliable LGV Driver/Labourer to join our hardworking team based in Dundee. If youre looking for a role that offers variety, teamwork, and the chance to be part of something meaningful, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

You will

– Collaborate within a team to reinstate excavations on highways and private properties, supporting the maintenance of our distribution network.

– Ensure clear communication, adherence to safety protocols, and consistent application of safe working practices throughout all activities.

– Carry out duties outdoors in all weather conditions, working to strict deadlines while ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations. Provide high-quality customer service, particularly in response to reactive maintenance needs.

– Take on a physically demanding role, involving extensive reinstatement works on the highway and private land.

– Work in close collaboration with your manager and be prepared to support additional ad hoc projects as required.

You have

– Some experience with reinstating techniques including Tarmac, modular services, slabs and concrete.

– Experience of working on public highways involving setting up and taking down temporary traffic signals to the code of practice and working alongside hotbox, concrete, and grab lorries.

– A full UK driving license with a LGV entitlement is essential.

– Lorry Loader (Hiab) ticket preferred but not essential as training can be given.
