Planning Engineer

Base Location: Glasgow, Perth or Aberdeen

Salary: £40,600 – £61,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-impact projects that support our journey towards a network for Net Zero. If youre passionate about meticulous planning and want to be part of projects that make a real difference, this is the role for you!

You will

– Lead the development of detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

– Perform critical path analysis and dependency management to identify key milestones.

– Oversee and manage multiple project schedules across a diverse project portfolio.

– Facilitate interactive planning sessions with project managers to achieve consensus on realistic and achievable timelines.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project goals.

You have

– Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and project scheduling principles

– Prior experience working on large-scale construction projects

– Proven ability to manage complex schedules and identify critical paths effectively.

– Excellent interpersonal skills to lead collaborative planning sessions and influence stakeholders.

– Strong organisational skills to manage and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
