Salary: £42,600 – £64,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
SSEN Transmission has a fantastic opportunity for an Senior Risk Analyst to join our Risk & Assurance team. The Risk & Assurance team proactively identify and assess enterprise risk and controls to deliver strategic priorities and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations through coordinated assurance activities
The role will lead on enhancing our enterprise risk management capability by establishing analysis and reporting against key risk management related performance metrics and trends. Reporting to the Senior Risk and Assurance Manager, the Senior Risk Analyst will work with stakeholders across the business to deliver risk management related insights to support strategic decision making.
You will
– Support the development and implementation of SSEN Transmissions Enterprise Risk Management Framework across the business.
– Act as a key contact for SSEN Transmissions Risk Management software, driving system enhancements and continuous improvement.
– Analyse data to produce risk reports, identify trends, and develop Key Performance and Risk Indicators to inform decision-making.
– Facilitate risk workshops and engagements across all levels of the business, ensuring outputs are captured and reported effectively.
– Help deliver risk awareness training and promote compliance with the Risk Management Framework in collaboration with key stakeholders.
You have
– Proven risk management skills with relevant experience in a similar role
– Strong understanding of management systems and processes
– Exceptional attention to detail and sound data analysis skills
– Experience in data visualisation tools such as Power BI is essential
– Excellent communication skills to interpret and present complex information in easily understandable formats
