About the Role

Working within the Procurement Operations Team you will be responsible for the delivery of tactical sourcing and contract administration. You will be in the unique position of facing off to procurement and logistics colleagues in the wider team, internal business customers and external suppliers.

The key responsibilities in this role will be:

– To undertake the procurement of goods, works and services to support all Business Units within the organisation, aiming to reduce contract costs.

– Via our Jaggaer Sourcing to Contract System you will conduct sourcing events in line with Category Sourcing Strategies and all relevant procurement policies and procedures.

– Processing Orders and Agreements in our Oracle Purchasing System.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

– A good knowledge and understanding of the supply chain process, procurement process and procurement systems and experience of conducting sourcing events from requests to contract placement.

– An Understanding how to draft, review and negotiate contracts. Experience of using various forms of contract such as NEC suite or similar preferred.

– A sound commercial awareness with high attention to detail especially within numeracy and accuracy.

– Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities and have excellent organisational skills and should be a good team player.

– Demonstrable stakeholder engagement and management skills are essential.
